FORMER ASSEMBLYMEMBER SUSAN BONILLA ENDORSES CONCORD CITYCOUNCILMEMBER CARLYN OBRINGER FOR CONTRA COSTA BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

CONCORD, CA – Today, Susan Bonilla, former Contra Costa County Supervisor and the first woman to represent Central Contra Costa County in the California State Assembly, announced her endorsement of Carlyn Obringer for Contra Costa County Supervisor, District 4.

Susan Bonilla previously served on the Concord City Council and as Chair of the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors. In the CA State Assembly, she served as Chair of the Assembly Budget Subcommittee on Education Finance and Chair of the Assembly Business & Professions Committee. Bonilla joins a growing list of community leaders and organizations supporting Carlyn Obringer for Contra Costa County Supervisor, District 4.

In announcing her endorsement Susan Bonilla stated, “Having served as Contra Costa County Supervisor, I know Carlyn has the skills, experience, and vision to ensure Contra Costa County will remain a great place for business and families. I proudly support and endorse Carlyn Obringer for Contra Costa County Supervisor, District 4.”

In accepting the endorsement, Carlyn Obringer stated, “I have long admired Susan’s history of service to our community and am proud to receive her support. I am committed to continuing to deliver new transportation and housing projects while ensuring our local public safety needs are met, just as Susan did.”
